If you noticed on your face those small red, blue or purple colour veins then you are not alone. They are extremely common and we can remove or reduce them for you. Thread veins are also called spider veins or broken capillaries.

Thread veins can be caused by several things such as genes, hormones, pregnancy, smoking, alcohol, localised trauma, changes in environmental temperature and prolonged standing. Generally, they are harmless but they can make people self-conscious because they can be very visible.

Laser vein removal for facial thread veins

At Simply Laser Hair Removal and Skin Clinic we have the most advanced technology and non-invasive treatment for thread veins.

We use laser light which is absorbed into the hemoglobin, thereby heating the blood in the broken veins, this causes the vein to break down but leaves the surrounding skin unharmed. The damaged veins are gradually dissolved and the lymphatic system removes coagulated blood, clearing the thread vein from the skin. Leaving you with beautiful vein-free skin.

To treat the thread veins fully, we recommended you have a course of 3 to 6 treatments, with a four-week space between each treatment. You may experience some bruising or swelling after treatment, but this should subside within 48 to 72 hours. Laser thread vein removal treatment causes minimal discomfort, sometimes described as a mild stinging.

In most cases the thread veins will not reoccur, but new veins can appear in other areas of your body which might require treatment. We offer this treatment for the face and neck only.

Laser thread vein removal does not have any downtime, however, as with all treatment we recommend that you take care of the treated area for at least 24hours following your aftercare instructions given to you.

" Amazing experience. I was a bit sceptical about laser would work on me due to my PCOS syndrome. I started with a small area (underarms). I used to wax it and it was always a nightmare when I had to wait for the hairs ... to grow before being able to waxing, especially during summer.
